The largest independent, non-profit and non-partisan association of law students and young lawyers in the world.

ELSA (The European Law Students' Association) is a non-political, non-profit NGO founded in 1981 in Vienna by law students from Austria, Hungary, Poland and West Germany. Today, it is the largest association of its kind worldwide, with a presence in 44 countries, more than 375 local chapters and over 60,000 members.
ELSA Komotini is one of the most active local chapters of ELSA Greece, offering students of the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace a multitude of academic and professional opportunities.
